STATE BOARD OF SOCIAL SERVICES

Small Business Impact Review - Report of Findings

Pursuant to § 2.2-4007.1 of the Code of Virginia, the State Board of Social Services has conducted a small business impact review of 22VAC40-670, Degree Requirements for Social Work Occupational Group, and determined that this regulation should be retained in its current form. The State Board of Social Services is publishing its report of findings dated August 15, 2013, to support this decision in accordance with § 2.2-4007.1 G of the Code of Virginia.

The regulation applies to the entrance standards of employees hired and employed by local departments of social services. These standards do not apply to the private sector or small businesses, therefore the standards do not have an impact on small businesses.

Proposed Consent Special Order for the City of Hopewell

An enforcement action has been proposed for the City of Hopewell for alleged violations at the Hopewell Wastewater Treatment Facility located at 231 Hummel Ross Road, Hopewell, VA. The State Water Control Board proposes to issue a consent special order to the City of Hopewell to address noncompliance with State Water Control Board Law. The consent order requires corrective action and a civil charge.
