TITLE 18. PROFESSIONAL AND OCCUPATIONAL LICENSING
REGISTRAR'S NOTICE: The Virginia Board for Asbestos, Lead, and Home Inspectors is claiming an exemption from Article 2 of the Administrative Process Act in accordance with § 2.2-4006 A 6 of the Code of Virginia, which excludes regulations of the regulatory boards served by the Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation pursuant to Title 54.1 of the Code of Virginia that are limited to reducing fees charged to regulants and applicants. The board will receive, consider, and respond to petitions by any interested person at any time with respect to reconsideration or revision.

Summary:
The amendments put in place a temporary reduction in the renewal and late renewal fees charged by the Virginia Board for Asbestos, Lead, and Home Inspectors for certain licenses and training program approvals until February 2025, continuing a temporary fee reduction that became effective in 2021.
