Statutory Authority: § 54.1-2400 of the Code of Virginia.

Effective Dates: November 1, 2008, through April 26, 2010.

The Board of Medicine has requested an extension of the above-referenced emergency regulation, relating to the licensure of occupational therapy assistants. The emergency regulation was published in 25:5 VA.R. 1103-1108 November 10, 2008 (http://register.dls.virginia.gov/vol25/
iss05/v25i05.pdf).

In accordance with § 2.2-4011 D of the Code of Virginia, the Governor approved the department's request to extend the expiration date of the emergency regulation through April 26, 2010.
