Notice is hereby given in accordance with § 2.2-4007.01 of the Code of Virginia that the Board for Branch Pilots intends to consider amending the following regulations: 18VAC45-20, Board for Branch Pilots Regulations. The purpose of the proposed action is to perform a general review of the board's regulations including, but not limited to, physical examination requirements for initial licensing and license renewal; reporting requirements for denial of licensure, denial of licensure renewal, and discipline; criteria for the medical review officer; and possible changes to chemical testing regulations. Other changes that may be necessary may also be considered.

The agency intends to hold a public hearing on the proposed action after publication in the Virginia Register.

Public Comments: Public comments may be submitted until 5 p.m. on April 29, 2009.
