Chapter 20
Notice of Intended Regulatory Action
Notice is hereby given in accordance with § 2.2-4007.01 of the Code of Virginia that the Board for Waterworks and Wastewater Works Operators and Onsite Sewage System Professionals intends to consider amending 18VAC160-20, Board for Waterworks and Wastewater Works Operators Regulations. In response to the Governor's Regulatory Reform initiative, the Board for Waterworks and Wastewater Works Operators and Onsite Sewage System Professionals seeks to review and amend its current regulations to repeal regulations that are unnecessary or no longer in use and reduce unnecessary regulatory burdens on regulated groups. The board may identify additional areas for amendment or repeal.
The agency intends to hold a public hearing on the proposed action after publication in the Virginia Register.
