Virginia Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (VPDES) General Permit Regulation for Storm Water Discharges Associated with Industrial Activity
Notice of Intended Regulatory Action
Notice is hereby given in accordance with § 2.2-4007.01 of the Code of Virginia that the State Water Control Board intends to consider amending 9VAC25-151, Virginia Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (VPDES) General Permit Regulation for Storm Water Discharges Associated with Industrial Activity. The purpose of the proposed action is to amend and reissue the Virginia Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (VPDES) general permit regulation for discharges of stormwater from industrial activity. The general permit regulation expires on June 30, 2024, and needs to be reissued so that industrial facilities with point source discharges of stormwater to surface waters from regulated industrial activities can continue to have general permit coverage. Changes to the existing general permit regulation include updating the effective dates of the general permit, clarifying permit definitions and requirements, and correcting typographical errors. Additional amendments may be identified following the submittal of public comments on this notice, through the work of the technical advisory committee, or to comply with federal requirements and watershed plans.
The agency intends to hold a public hearing on the proposed action after publication in the Virginia Register.

Home Care Organization Regulations
Notice of Intended Regulatory Action
Notice is hereby given in accordance with § 2.2-4007.01 of the Code of Virginia that the State Board of Health intends to consider amending 12VAC5-381, Home Care Organization Regulations. The purpose of the proposed action is to address remote supervision of personal care services by home care organizations. Chapter 470 of the 2021 Acts of Assembly, Special Session I, directs the State Board of Health to promulgate regulations for home care organizations that govern the delivery of personal care services to provide for supervision of home care attendants providing personal care services by a licensed nurse through use of interactive audio or video technology. The intended regulatory action implements this requirement.
The agency does not intend to hold a public hearing on the proposed action after publication in the Virginia Register.
