This regulation will incorporate those provisions deemed appropriate and necessary after a comprehensive review.

While Chapter 20 of the Board of Medicine regulations has not had a periodic review since 2004, it has been amended 19 times in the interim. Therefore, the board does not intend to adopt substantive changes to the regulations but will respond to issues raised by comments on the Notice of Intended Regulatory Action.
